Pre- Algebra

Pre-Algebra serves as a transitional bridge which guides students from the foundations of elementary mathematics to the more advanced principles of Algebra. Skills learned during this course include, but are not limited to, negative numbers, exponents and roots, solving equations for a variable, Distributive Property, ratios, proportions, and unit rates, absolute value, Pythagorean Theorem, polynomials, and real numbers.
